BOULDER — The herd is still growing.
Wide receiver Wesley Greaves announced Monday that he will attend the University of Colorado. He is one of 15 players currently committed to CU in the 2023 class. He is a three-star recruit and the 156th-ranked wide receiver in his class, according to the 247Sports Composite Rankings.

The College Station, Texas native made his name as a deep threat for A&M Consolidated High School. Greaves is fast enough to beat high school defenders deep, even when they line up in off coverage, but his speed doesn’t project to be elite at the next level. He uses his 6-foot-2 frame well enough to be a threat downfield anyway.
Greaves also had offers to Utah, SMU, Colorado State and others.
Colorado now has 15 commits in the 2023 class, which ranks 28th in the country according to 247Sports. That number is bolstered by having the 11th-most commitments in the 2023 cycle, but two of the commits haven’t been rated yet. When those two are rated, CU should easily enter the top 25 and could enter the top 20 depending on who the recruits are rated.
Greaves is the third wide receiver in CU’s 2023 class, joining Isaiah Hardge of IMG Academy of St. Thomas Aquinas in Fort Lauderdale, Floradida and Edward Schultz of Mission Viejo High School in California.
