Sean Payton and George Paton revealed at the NFL Combine that they would ideally like to acquire more draft capital for the Denver Broncos. Would they need to trade a top player, such as Courtland Sutton or Justin Simmons, or trade down in the NFL Draft? Could the trade Sutton for Brandin Cooks or DeAndre Hopkins?
The NFL Combine is underway and DNVR is on site in Indianapolis for the NFL Combine. On Tuesday, the guys talked to Denver Broncos head coach Sean Payton and general manager George Paton about the state of the team. Payton opened up on his coaching staff, including why he hired Vance Joseph and Davis Webb. Payton also reveals how close Vic Fangio was to becoming the Broncos’ defensive coordiantor.
