On Wednesday, the Denver Broncos, Sean Payton and George Paton made a number of roster moves. The team did NOT pick up a single player on the waiver wire, not did a single Bronco get picked up on the wire. What does this say about the team?

Denver also began to build their practice squad with many familiar faces, including Ben DiNucci and Lil’Jordan Humphrey, as well as former first-round receiver Phillip Dorsett. Sean Payton and George Paton cut the Denver Broncos’ roster down to 53 players by the 2 p.m. deadline on Tuesday. In a matter of days, the team cut nearly 40 players to narrow their roster down, including Kendall Hinton.

The team also decided to put Baron Browning on the PUP to start the season, meaning he will miss over a month of the season. But the team made an interesting decision in regards to Jerry Jeudy’s timeframe with a hamstring injury.
