Boise State still owns Colorado State. The Broncos moved to 12-0 all-time against the Rams with a 49-10 beatdown of the Green & Gold Saturday night. In the 39-point victory the Broncos did whatever they wanted offensively and looked equally as impressive defensively. They gained 514 yards of total offense, scored on all seven trips to the Red Zone and…

Boise State proved once again that they are the class of the Mountain West with a 49-10 beatdown of Colorado State on Saturday night. The Broncos moved the ball with ease against CSU and faced little resistance in what was a one-sided matchup. With freshman quarterback Taylen Green able to do whatever he wanted through the air, Boise State mounted drive after drive in this one. And when they got to the Red Zone, unlike the week before against Air Force, this time the Broncos capitalized with a plethora of rushing touchdowns. By halftime the Broncos had already outgained the visiting Rams by over 200 yards (321 vs. 109), and had established a three-score lead (28-10). Then in the second…

Justin Michael starts the show by discussing how Boise State has been a boogie man for Colorado State since the Broncos joined the Mountain West. He then goes over what we can take away from the 2021 matchup, including the importance of scoring points and burying Boise State if the opportunity presents itself. Finally, Justin talks about junior running back Avery Morrow and how his hot start in league play has him in rare company. If the Nevada transfer goes for 100 or more yards on the ground this week, he’ll be just the second CSU running back this decade to do so in four consecutive games. DENVER — On to the next one.  No. 20 Colorado State (11-0) was originally scheduled to play its first conference road game at Boise State (10-4) on Friday night. However, due to the Broncos being unable to play the matchup and Nevada (7-5) being unable to play their scheduled game at Viejas Arena, the Rams now will play at San Diego State (9-3) on Saturday afternoon instead (2:00 p.m. MT). The game will be televised on CBS, according to the Mountain West, which announced the schedule change on Wednesday evening.  It’s no surprise that Boise State and CSU will not be playing this weekend. Following Tuesday night’s victory over Air Force (8-5), men’s head basketball coach Niko Medved told reporters…
