BOULDER — More bad news for CU hoops fans.
Incoming freshman forward Bobi Klintman has decommitted from Colorado, according to Joe Tipton of On3 Sports. Klintman was set to enroll this fall after committing on April 14.
2022 four-star Bobi Klintman tells me he will decommit from Colorado.

Klintman, a 6-foot-8 Swedish combo forward, came to the United States for his senior year of basketball and played at Sunrise Christian in Kansas. He is currently ranked by 247Sports as the 166th-best player in the 2022 recruiting class.
The news came just a few hours after we learned that Jabari Walker is almost certainly leaving Colorado to play pro ball. The two departures leave CU fairly shallow in the frontcourt. Here’s what the scholarship roster looks like without Klintman and Walker:
PG: KJ Simpson, Julian Hammond III, Javon Ruffin
SG: Ethan Wright, RJ Smith
SF: Nique Clifford, Luke O’Brien, Quincy Allen
PF: Tristan da Silva
C: Lawson Lovering, Joe Hurlburt
A bunch of these guys could line up in different spots, but the lack of options in the frontcourt is what stands out. As of now, Colorado has two scholarships left to fill and they can take their pick out of the remaining transfers and unsigned freshmen. If it were up to me, I’d snag a developmental combo forward and a senior power forward who you’re comfortable sliding into the starting lineup.
Regardless, the month of waiting to see whether Colorado will have to replace Walker is over, and with Klintman’s departure it’s time to get to work.
