The Broncos received great news this week.
The NFL announced the salary cap will increase to $255.4 million in 2024, which is about $12 million more than most insiders expected.
Unfortunately, the Broncos are still about $11 million to $13 million over the cap, depending on whose estimate you trust, which means they have work to do to become cap-compliant before next season.
Moving money from one year to the next is generally pretty easy, so the Broncos don't necessarily need to ditch enough players to clear the $30 million or so in cap space they'll need this offseason.
