It feels like the Colorado football team is on the verge of a breakthrough.
After back-to-back losses to Top-12 ranked teams in which the Buffs held third-quarter leads, Deion Sanders’ squad has the full attention of Oklahoma State head coach Eric Morris.
“They might be the best two-win team in the nation,” Morris said of Colorado on Tuesday. “They’ve been in these games. They’re a play away from making it happen.”
Colorado (2-4) travels to Oklahoma State (4-2) on Saturday looking to snap a four-game losing streak and play a complete game. The Buffs have played good football in spurts this season but a lackluster offense and mistakes in critical moments have cost them.
Coach Prime still believes his Colorado football team can “beat anybody in the country” when it can manage to score points because of how well the defense has played this season vs. Big 12 opponents (leads conference in TFLs). That defense will face its toughest test of the season on Saturday in Stillwater, though.
Here are three keys and a prediction for the Colorado football team’s game vs. Oklahoma State, which kicks off at 5:00 p.m. MT.
