BOULDER — The Colorado Buffaloes jumped from No. 25 to No. 20 in Monday’s AP Top 25 poll, following a home win over unranked Utah.
Oregon is the top-ranked team in the Pac-12, moving up one spot from ninth to eighth. The Ducks and the Buffs are the Pac-12’s only Top 25 representatives.
The Arizona Wildcats, who Colorado plays on Saturday, fell out of the rankings following a winless trip to play the Oregon schools last weekend. They now sit at No. 33 in the expanded rankings, after sneaking into the Top 25 at No. 24 last week.
Four other Pac-12 teams are also receiving votes, led by Stanford, the only undefeated team in conference play, at No. 27.
The Cardinal is followed by Washington (39th), Oregon State (t-43rd) and USC (t-47th).
Three of Colorado’s non-conference opponents were also listed on Monday. Kansas fell from No. 3 to No. 6 and Dayton jumped from No. 15 to No. 13.
Northern Iowa is still unranked but received enough votes to notch the No. 36 spot.
