ENGLEWOOD, Colo. — The Denver Broncos lost three key players in their loss to the San Francisco 49ers on Sunday.
Pat Surtain II needed assistance leaving the field shortly before halftime. Riley Moss did not come out of the locker room following halftime. And Pat Bryant left on a cart immediately after he made the Broncos’ biggest play of the day.
On Wednesday, in the Broncos’ first practice of the week following the injuries, the first official injury news on the three starters was released. And Sean Payton gave a very encouraging update on two of them.
