Von Miller dances. Bradley Chubb steals quarterbacks’ towels. Maybe they can trade tips in training camp.
The Broncos selected NC State edge rusher Bradley Chubb with the fifth pick in the 2018 NFL Draft, Thursday night. The Broncos’ next pick is the 40th overall selection, early in the second round.
Chubb is widely considered the best pass rusher in this year’s draft class. He won the Bronco Nagurski Award for the best defensive player in college football this year and was also the ACC Defensive Player of the Year and a consensus All-American.
At 6-4 and 275 pounds, Chubb is a force to be reckoned with. He’s a big, strong edge rusher who is starting to refine the technical side of his game. He posted 10 sacks and over 20 tackles for a loss in each of the past two seasons.
Chubb probably fits best as a defensive end in a 4-3 scheme, but he’ll likely play outside linebacker in Denver’s 3-4.
Wherever Chubb fits in, you can be sure that he and Von will have big things in mind.

I am all about this pick! I was convinced they were going QB and I am glad they went Chubb! Now I think they are going to trade Shane Ray and a kate round pick to get back up in the 1st! Okay, maybe not but here’s to dreaming!!

Andre,Zac or Ryan whats the percentage of top 10 quarterback picks that are considered a bust compared to Defensive end/ Edge rushers.
Also what do you feel Case Keenan’s floor is compared to any of the top picked qb’s. I would argue that its at the very least the same. If not higher.
All in all a great pick in my opinion.
Btw I don’t mind the boss visiting the pod. But maybe limit his blasts of energy to a couple minutes : )
