ENGLEWOOD, Colo. — The Broncos released their injury report ahead of Sunday’s road game against the Carolina Panthers. Kickoff is scheduled for 11 a.m.
Key notes:
- Wide receivers Jerry Jeudy and KJ Hamler still aren’t ready to return from their injuries.
- Essang Bassey is likely to see extended work in the slot, as K’Waun Williams will not play.
The Broncos also made a couple of roster moves on Saturday:
- Running back Devine Ozigbo was promoted to the active roster from the practice squad. The Nebraska grad picked up 25 yards in three seasons with the Jaguars and added two more with the Broncos this season. He will be the third back behind Latavius Murray and Marlon Mack.
- Wide receiver Brandon Johnson and cornerback Faion Hicks will be activated from the practice squad this week. Johnson saw his first action of the season last week and should see extensive work against the Panthers as well. Hicks, who is also a rookie, will make his NFL debut if he sees the field this week. He figures to serve as a backup in the slot.
