100% agree. Even the Stars offense is overrated in my opinion. Their depth past the big 4 guns and I suppose Cody Eakin is not very good at all.

Rough estimations on what each player could realistically achieve next season and it’s pretty clear that the Avs have an edge in depth.Which way the greater or equals sign is pointing on player depends on consistency vs. upside.

This is assuming Rantanen makes 3rd line. If not then Everberg would replace him with 15-20P.

Duchene = 70-75P Eakin = 35-45P
Grigorenko = 20-50?P ≥ Hemsky = 25-35P (Grigs has big upside, but unproven)
Rantanen = 30-45P > Roussell = 25-30P
Mitchell = 25-30P > Eaves = 20-25P
Comeau = 25-30P > Fiddler = 20-25P

Johnson = 30-40+P ≥ Goligoski = 30-40P (Johnson was having career year)

Barrie = 45-55P ≥ Klingberg = 40-55P (Barrie proven, Klingberg is sophomore)
Beauchemin = 20P > Oduya = 10P
Zadorov = 15-30P ≤ Demers = 20-30P (Demers consistently does this)
Holden = 15-20P = Benn = 15-20P
