Agree with everything except Makar. I thought he played an exceptional game. Controlled the game, made great decision after great decision. He was terrific IMO.

Good stuff, i agree with pretty much everything. And someone besides MacK needs to step up or this gonna be over quickly. I’m sure they will come out flyin and take it to the Stars in Game 3.

Actually felt the turning point in the game was a nonchalant backhanded blind clearing attempt by Compher while skating towards the corner in the defensive zone. At the time of that give away we were up 2-0. Right after the turnover Girard slashed and got the 2 minute penalty. Then, on that first kill, we had the puck on our stick 3 times and could not clear it despite wide open lanes to do it. The puck never left the zone and then Cole with the cross checking penalty. In summary, a couple of bad clearing attempts completely turned this game around.

I get that graves was +40 this year and it’s to be commended…but I just don’t get the love affair many avs peeps have for him. Sure you can get lost in his eyes, but he’s not fast, doesn’t handle especially well, and his passing is suspect. And for a big guy he doesn’t seem very physical.
