‘We may look at the play as a changing point’ I already do. It’s history in front of our eyes, and the play of the series along with Helm’s shot. Winning games are way more important than losing one’s in terms of impact plays. Those two are bigger than MacK’s end to end goal.

Manson gets an A+.

The Manson penalty was somewhat amusing though, as he split two Blues and took them both out like a bowling ball picking up a spare. Too bad the darn puck wasn’t there. Love his friendly snarl.

I really didn’t like Kemper last night. I thought his play on the 2 on 1 was poor, since he should have favored the side away from his defenseman, and falling on his ass and sliding out of the goal crease on the Manson save was unusual to say the least . This follows up his performance in the melt down in the fifth game. The only time i thought the Avs would win that game was with 5.6 seconds left.

As a goalie, you always take the shooter on 2-on-1’s. When you cheat over anticipating a pass is when you get beat on the short side. It’s the defender’s job to deny the pass.

Cale really shut down Saad throughout this series which I think is a big deal when we know how dangerous Saad is.
