ENGLEWOOD, Colo. — The NFL trade deadline is just over a week away. And the Denver Broncos appear to be in the mix surrounding some of the top names on the market.
Sean Payton, however, would call that internet gossip.
“What’s out there? You mean the internet gossip? Is that what you’re talking about,” the head coach said, when asked on Monday morning if he would address the reports that have been swirling about Denver‘s interest on the trade market.
Payton was then asked directly about the Broncos’ interest in Indianapolis Colts‘ running back Jonathan Taylor, as well as their potential interest in other running backs and skill position players.
