ENGLEWOOD, Colo. — Bo Nix had only two completions that traveled more than 10 yards in the air in the Denver Broncos‘ loss to the San Francisco 49ers on Sunday.
On top of that, Nix’s first pass attempt more than 20 yards downfield didn’t come until the final two minutes of the game.
The day after the loss, after reviewing the film, Sean Payton explained why Nix and the Broncos’ passing offense was ultra-conservative in the team’s 24-14 loss to the 49ers.
