In an NBA postseason that’s at a blistering and record-setting pace for injuries to their athletes, the players and their union are realizing that the league may have made them eat a rather sizable helping of sh– by turning them back around to a hurried and condensed 2021 season in such short order. Some saw it early on…

But any way you slice it, there’s a lot of slicing and dicing in this season’s run to the NBA Finals. Rosters, limbs, and sanity are all seeing cuts. While the league sells itself as an international game that opens hearts, horizons, and borders, they may want to take a moment to alleviate the current view that their beloved product is simply just so much meat.
As many of the players press to come back from the dead and push their limping team to the Finals, there may be something the undead and the league offices could both use in bunches.
