BOULDER — The Buffs got better.
Josh Chandler-Semedo announced on Twitter Saturday that he plans to attend the University of Colorado for his final year of eligibility. Chandler-Semedo played 44 games at linebacker West Virginia, including 31 starts. All of his starts in the past two seasons have come at middle linebacker.

Chandler-Semedo was a third-team All-Big 12 performer in 2021 according to Phil Steele. He was an honorable mention selection by the Big 12 coaches. He made 8.5 tackles per game, which was third in Big 12 and 36th in the nation.
Nate Landman is off to the NFL leaving Quinn Perry as his heir at middle linebacker. Chandler-Semedo’s addition changes the equation. Both players project best as middle linebackers but CU could choose to deploy one of them on as the WILL or SAM backer but their skillsets seem to overlap.
