BOULDER — The awards are in.

Colorado landed three players onto the Pac-12’s end-of-season awards teams, the conference announced Tuesday. Sophomore forward Jabari Walker earned first-team All-Pac-12 honors, senior forward Evan Battey earned a spot on the second team and point guard K.J. Simpson was placed on the all-freshman squad.

Walker posted 16 double-doubles in his sophomore campaign, the ninth-most in the nation and the most in the Pac-12 by a wide margin. He averaged 14.7 points and 9.4 rebounds per game and shot better than 47% from he field. He was named to the all-freshman team a year ago. He is the seventh different Buffalo to earn a place on the All-Pac-12 team.

Battey was an honorable mention All-Pac-12 performer last season but made his way onto the roster this time around. He posted 12.2 points and 4.5 rebounds per game while shooting better than 50%from the field. He also became a 3-point threat this season, knocking down more than half of his attempts from deep.

Simpson put up 7.3 points and 2.4 rebounds per game as the Buffaloes’ bench point guard. He becomes the fifth Buffalo to earn a spot on the Pac-12 All-Freshman team.
