The Denver Broncos need an improved pass rush.

In 2023, they tied for 21st with 42 sacks. The last time the Broncos had more than 42 sacks in a season was 2020, when Von Miller had 14.5 sacks and Bradley Chubb had 12. No Bronco has had 10 sacks in a season since then.

For reference, more than half of the NFL had a player produce 10 or more sacks in 2023. The Atlanta Falcons and Seattle Seahawks are the only other teams without a 10-sack season since at least 2018.

The advanced stats back up the raw numbers. For example, ESPN found the Broncos had a 34% win rate when pass rushing, which ranked 30th in the NFL.
