Who played well for the Broncos against the Eagles?

Not many players shined on Sunday for the Denver Broncos, as the team caught the wrong end of a 51-23 blowout at the hands of the Philadelphia Eagles, but it wasn’t all bad.

While they were few and far between, these three Broncos stood out in the debacle.

Brandon McManus

For just the third time all season, kicker Brandon McManus was perfect.

McManus, a Temple University alumnus, was 3-3 in the blowout loss, drilling kicks from yards of 52, 53, and 24 respectively. No. 8 was also responsible for all of Denver’s points in the first half and 11 of their 23 overall. His 53-yard boot was his longest of the season.

McManus is now 13-of-18 on the season and has not missed since Week 6 against the New York Giants.

Von Miller

Miller was responsible for the team’s biggest play of the day when he was able to get to backup quarterback Nick Foles in the fourth quarter, stripping the ball as Brandon Marshall recovered and ran for the 19-yard touchdown. The cant-miss play, however, was too little too late.

It was not only Miller’s one play that made this game special for the perennial pro-bowl player; No. 58 had six run-defense stops, tied for the most in one game among edge rushers this season and good enough for a stellar 92.3 overall rating on Pro Football Focus.

Chris Harris Jr.

There is a reason you did not hear the name Chris Harris called much on Sunday.

No. 25 was a shutdown corner Sunday afternoon, being targeted only three times all game and giving up a minute 36 total yards—which came on one play late—to a team who was having a field day on offense.

His overall rating of 80.5 on PFF was fourth highest on the team.
