What could Von Miller do with all that money?

The People of Denver can breathe easy knowing that Von Miller, Super Bowl 50 MVP, has signed a six-year, $114.5 million, $70 million guaranteed contract. This deal inked today is the largest contract for a non-quarterback in the history of the National Football League.

Now, we all think the same thing when we hear about monstrous deals such as this one, “What would I do with all that sweet, sweet cash if it were burning a hole in my pocket?” Well, if the self-proclaimed Bronco for life cannot make up his mind, here’s a few suggestions.

Dance Lessons

Von Miller does not like to lose, even when it comes to something as meaningless as the ABC hit show “Dancing with the Stars.” Miller was eliminated after failing to impress judges with his salsa moves while dressed as Elvis Presley back on May 2, fairly early into the shows run.

Salsa lessons run about $110 dollars a class in the Hollywood area, Miller could take 636,363 total classes to improve his salsa ability, with just enough left over for a shiny new Elvis suit.

Lasik

Some people are blessed with the gift of sight and never need corrective lenses or surgery to see the outside world—Von Miller is not of those people. Miller has needed glasses his whole life and even had to manufacture his own Rec Specs to see the field, literally.

“I had to wear my glasses to play. But they kept falling off in the heat of battle,” Miller wrote in his Players Tribune piece. “You remember Rec Specs? Horace Grant? Rec Specs, I would strap them over the top of my helmet to keep my glasses in place, motocross style.”

At roughly $600 an eye, Miller could receive the treatment 58,333 times over and still have some change to donate to his charity, Von’s Vision, which helps underprivileged kids in the Denver area receive the glasses they need.

More Glasses

Maybe Lasik isn’t his thing. How about more glasses! Miller has an insane number of specs he keeps in his home that he shares with his brother, who has the same subscription.

Well, since it’s cool now, why not go all out? A shop located in San Diego called Main St. can make custom diamond-encrusted eyewear for the small price range of $9,500-50,000 a pair. Throw some orange and blue diamonds in there and Miller can order 1,400 pairs, if he decides to go top notch, of course.

The Naming of the Stadium

After Sports authority went bankrupt, people and businesses were foaming at the mouth at the chance to have their name and logo on the iconic field that we all still refer to as Mile High Stadium. Based on the deal Sports Authority has, Miller could name the field whatever he wants for the next 20 years with that new deal.

The old adage says, “Don’t spend it all in one place,” but that seems boring. Do it big, Von.
