Welcome to the Avalanche Treasure Hunt! *Update: found

OK folks, the Avalanche Treasure Hunt is on. I have hidden the first item. Clue to come in a second, but first, the ground rules again:

I will leave clues to the 13 items on a live, rolling basis right here. I’m going to do 13 separate posts, so saddle up. The clues will be open to BSN Denver subscribers only. Here is the link to subscribe, if you still want in on this.

If you are the lucky finder of one of these items, please SEND ME A SELFIE WITH YOU AND THE ITEM to Dater@thednvr.com. That way I can show you off to the world and I can check that item off the list. I will be leaving these spread out through the area today. So, while I live in Thornton and this first item is hidden out there, I will hit all areas of the city. Might even be one in Boulder or Castle Rock. You never know.
