BOULDER – Colorado Buffaloes head coach Mike MacIntyre addressed the media following his team’s 20-10 victory against UCLA. He believes the Buffs haven’t been able to finish drives the way the need to and how penalties were a large part of that in the game. MacIntyre wants his team to understand that if they want to be Pac-12 Champions they can not have as many penalties as they had tonight. He commented on how they have to be better poised, more thoughtful of others, and less selfish because the team has too much at stake to lose in this fashion. MacIntyre touched on how well the defense has played as well as ways the team will correct certain issues before they play Arizona next week. He called this game a “character building win” due to the sheer fact that the team really hasn’t been in this type of situation before.
