Watch: Kevin Pierre-Louis in NFL Scouting Combine and Pro Day preparation

Kevin Pierre-Louis is looking to follow in the footsteps of many former Colorado State Rams football players and become a “Next Level Ram” even though he wasn’t part of the college all-star games like his six former teammates.

No, Pierre-Louis wasn’t invited to an all-star game, but he hasn’t given up on his dream to make it into the NFL.

Far from it.

Currently, KPL — one of the hardest hitting players in recent CSU football history — is training with Kerry Bennett down in Katy, Texas at Athletic Performance Lab. We interviewed Bennett last week, and he gave all the details about what’s helping Pierre-Louis succeed in that training. That training includes the 40-yard dash, cone drill and other combine-specific work as well as working on football technique.

It’s a must-read interview as Bennett says of KPL, “He stays a little extra trying to get better at things that we’re working on. If he didn’t quite get it during the workout, he’ll come back and say, ‘I need to work a little harder on this. What can I do?’”

Now, thanks to Bennett, we have video of Pierre-Louis in the training which is preparing him for his Pro Day, and hopefully, the NFL Scouting Combine.

Pierre-Louis is certainly working hard in this video, and as Bennett explained, he’s always asking how he can improve.

With any luck, through all his hard work, KPL will earn an invite to the NFL Scouting Combine to show off his quickness, explosiveness and size; all solid traits named by Bennett.
