DENVER – Colorado Rockies ace Jon Gray joined fellow NL West starters Jeff Samardzija, Madison Bumgarner and Zack Greinke as pitcher who rake.
In his second home start of the year Gray nailed a 1-0 pitch from Scott Feldman in the second inning to dead centerfield.

The dinger was a two run shot and traveled 467 feet, at a speed of 105 mph off the bat.
Gray added a little celebration after he smoked the ball.

His homer was the longest by a pitcher in the Statcast Era (2015) and the furthest hit by a Rockie this season.
It was the first hit of Jon Gray’s short season and the first home run of his career.
