Nuggets’ rookie Jamal Murray took home Most Valuable Player honors in the Rising Stars Challenge in New Orleans Friday night, while Nikola Jokic dazzled in his own way as the World topped the USA 150-134.

Murray came off the bench and scored 36 points on 13-19 shooting from the field and 9-14 from three in just 20 minutes. The No. 7 overall pick in last year’s draft also racked up 11 assists.

Jokic finished with 12 points, 11 rebounds, eight assists, narrowly missing a triple-double. The second-year center from Serbia did have four turnovers.

Emmanuel Mudiay was selected for the game as well, but did not play with a back injury that the point guard has dealt with for the past couple of weeks.

Check out the highlights below –

Jokic, man of many skills. Pirouettes in the paint.

Throwing straight fire all game long.

Droppin dimes, droppin dimes.

Blue Arrow emerges

Is it a coincidence Jamal Murray rhythms with Stephen Curry?

The guy can’t make a pass while looking at his man. Blame the AAU culture.

Jahlil Okafor didn’t read the scouting report.

“Stay in the corner. Stay in the corner.”
