At halftime of the Denver Nuggets home opener the team retired 2015 Hall-of-Fame inductee Dikembe Mutombo‘s No. 55. Mutombo played five seasons in Denver after the franchise drafted him fourth overall in 1991.
Mutombo will remembered for his work off the court and on it; as a global ambassador with the NBA and assisting in humanitarian efforts across the globe.
