After a week of guessing what the Nuggets front office was up to regarding their search for the franchise’s next head coach, more details of the direction they are heading seem to be rolling in by the hour.
Real GM’s Shams Charania is reporting that the Nuggets have added yet another name to a growing list of potential head coaches.

Newman, who was a longtime assistant to Gregg Popovich in San Antonio from 2004-12, has held the same title in Washington under Randy Wittman for the past four seasons.
Earlier this morning ESPN’s Marc Stein reported that Nuggets general manager Tim Connelly had interviewed former Sacramento Kings head coach Mike Malone on Tuesday in California.
