Denver Broncos outside linebacker and sack-extraordinaire Von Miller appeared on NFL Network on Wednesday morning. When the upbeat All-Pro was asked if making the Pro Bowl gets old, he said, “No, it doesn’t get old. It’s a great award. You’re voted on by your peers, and the fans, and the coaches, it’s all great.” But he didn’t end it at that.
Von Miller then told the crew,”I plan on not being there; I plan on being in San Jose (For the Super Bowl).” The four time Pro-Bowler did promise that if for some reason he ends up in Hawaii for the Pro Bowl, that he would play hard.
When Von Miller was asked if he has talked to teammate DeMarcus Ware about the Pro Bowl, Miller said that he talks to Ware all the time and has talked to him “About everything” including his playoff runs in Dallas and the Pro Bowl but once again pointed out that Ware is also focused on San Jose, not Hawaii.
If one thing is for sure, it’s that Von Miller has Super Bowl on his mind and he’s not afraid to talk about it.
