DENVER – Troy Tulowitzki retuned to Denver on Monday to face the Colorado Rockies for the first time in his career. His return to Coors Field was a display of Rockies past, present and future, but most importantly it was a moment of remembrance for a fan favorite and one of the franchise’s best players ever.
Tulo finished his Rockies time with two playoff appearances, five All-Star appearances, two Gold Gloves and two Silver Sluggers. The slick hitting shortstop that is now a Blue Jay had a storied Colorado career ranking among the top five in the franchise’s WAR, games played, home runs and many other statistics, but it is some of the moments that MLB.com captured below that are what truly endeared the California native to the fans of Denver.
