Emmanuel Mudiay put on a show in Las Vegas this past month during the Nuggets’ week-long Summer League run. His poise was sound, his demeanor years ahead of where it should be for a teenager, yet the most startling aspect of seeing Mudiay up close and personal for the first time was without question his vision and overall distribution skills.
To celebrate the arrival of a new era in Denver Nuggets basketball, one of my old colleagues Joel Rush put together an excellent montage of Mudiay’s best game in Vegas against the Sacramento Kings in which he registered a near double-double, netting 19 points, 10 assists and three steals. Of course, it’s the assists, the telepathic ability to see plays before they develop that really got us excited, which is exactly what Joel summarizes in the video below…
