DENVER – 2015 All-Star second baseman and 2014 Gold Glove winner DJ LeMahieu left the Colorado Rockies game early Sunday. It appears he suffered an injury to his left leg as he dove to keep an Arizona Diamondback hit ball in the infield.
This season LeMahieu has broken out at the plate hitting .328 with 5 HR and 29 RBI. Today Player All-Star Ballots were due and many members of the Rockies chose their own second baseman to represent the National League in San Diego.
