After months of turmoil it appears the Nuggets have finally resolved their most pressing offseason hindrance — they have officially traded Ty Lawson. As usual, it’s Adrian Wojnarowski of Yahoo!Sports.com with the report:
Denver has agreed to a deal to send guard Ty Lawson to Houston, league sources tell Yahoo Sports.

Prigioni is guaranteed only $440K of his deal if waived by Monday. Denver will trade or waive him in next 24 hours, sources tell Yahoo.

David Aldridge of TNT is also reporting the following with regards to Pablo Prigioni:
Nuggets will waive Pablo Prigioni, who was part of deal to send Ty Lawson to Houston, per source. Partial guarantee only for next year. — David Aldridge (@daldridgetnt) July 20, 2015
BSNDenver.com will have extensive coverage and analysis throughout the aftermath of this situation, however up front it should be noted the Nuggets are receiving no player from the Houston Rockets who was part of the team’s rotation this past year — a somewhat perplexing fact considering the Rockets have a multitude of young talent which the Nuggets could have capitalized on had they waited for Lawson’s value to return in the coming months.
Nevertheless, the Ty Lawson era in Denver has officially ended on an extremely discordant note and now begins the Emmanuel Mudiay epoch. More analysis to follow…
