Colorado State picked up its third commit of the 2018 recruiting class Tuesday as in-state wide receiver A’Jon Vivens announced his pledge to the Rams on Twitter. Vivens, a 6-foot, 180-pound speedster from Denver’s Mullen High School, was named to the All-Colorado team in 2016 as a junior for the Mustangs.
The receiver from the Mile High City recorded 60 catches for 1,087 yards and 10 touchdowns.
Mike Bobo certainly sees no shortage of talent at Mullen. Vivens will join former teammates Christian Cumber, Marcus McElroy and Tanner Clem when he puts on the green and gold next year.
A two-star prospect according to Scout.com, Vivens also held interest from rival Mountain West schools Air Force and Wyoming. As of Tuesday, Bobo’s 2018 commits include Vivens, Zach Schlager and Nick Martin-Morman.
