Two more three-star commits highlight big recruiting day for Rams

Mike Bobo continues to flex his recruiting muscle. Colorado State received verbal commitments Thursday from a pair of three-star prospects in Warren Jackson and Ellison Hubbard.

Jackson, a 6-5 receiver from California, recorded 57 catches for 955 yards and seven touchdowns last season at Bishop Alemany High School. If the 185-pounder can put on some extra weight, he could be the ideal receiving tight end for CSU quarterbacks down the road.

Interestingly, Jackson flipped his commitment from Arizona to CSU. He also had offers from Colorado, Fresno State, Hawaii, Oregon State, Washington State and Wyoming.

Hubbard, on the other hand, is yet another defensive lineman for Bobo to have at his disposal. The 6-2, 260-pound Hubbard won a state championship at Grayson High School in Georgia. Though he was limited to just three games last season, Hubbard undoubtedly has a high ceiling.

He also received offers from Rutgers, Pittsburgh, Minnesota, Memphis and Boston College, among others.

The National Letter of Intent Signing Day for college football is set for Wednesday, Feb. 1.
