One small step for jerseys, one giant leap for Ram Nation.

OK, this maybe isn’t that monumental, but Colorado State Athletics’ 5-year, $11 million deal with Under Armour is borderline epic for fanatics.

Under Armour will pay a lot more money (it was $100,000 per year) to Colorado State Athletics and they’ll also upgrade which jerseys the football team in particular will wear. The current jerseys CSU dons? They’re the base level models from Under Armour.

Now, Colorado State will be able to work with the company to custom design their jerseys, which include the pumpkin and alfalfa Ag Day jerseys, as well as three other alternates over the course of the deal.

So, we asked fans what they want to see. Here are the highlights:

This? It would, could be SWEET.

(Not too sure about the tie dye look…)

Now this is a great idea. Another fan had it, too.

These? Groovy, maaan.

Anything resembling what Oregon is doing is a step in the right direction. Still, stay away from black. Really dark green? Sure. No black, that’s a CU color.

And the winner for most creative goes to the @angeraddict:
