Per Yahoo Sports’ Adrian Wojnarowski, the Oklahoma City Thunder have fired head coach Scott Brooks.

Brooks won the NBA Coach of the year award in 2009-10 and led the Thunder to the NBA Finals in 2011-12. Brooks went 338-207 in seven seasons with the Thunder but was let go after a disappointing 45-37 injury stricken season in 2014-15.
Brooks will immediately become a top candidate for the openings in Orlando and Denver, league sources tell Yahoo Sports.

Brooks spent time in Denver as an assistant coach under George Karl from 2003-2006 and the Nuggets are likely to have Brooks high on their list of coaching candidates.
