DENVER — Every year during the All-Star break, the NBA selects first and second-year players to participate in what is known as the “Rising Stars Challenge,” where some of the league’s brightest foreign-born players take on their American-born counterparts. The rosters for this event have been released and the Denver Nuggets will be sending Nikola Jokic, Jamal Murray, and Emmanuel Mudiay to play for the “World Roster”. Here is the full roster for both the US and World teams.

Murray will be participating for their first time while Mudiay and Jokic will be playing for their second time. Last year, Mudiay recorded 30 points, ten assists, three rebounds, and three steals while Jokic had 12 points, eight rebounds (all offensive), and four assists in 16 minutes.
Last year Mudiay spoke very highly of the ability to participate in All-Star weekend and to mingle with the best basketball players in the world. Hopefully, this is just another step forward in the maturation of the point guard and the Nuggets as a whole.
Keep an eye out for the Mudiay, Harris, and Jokic during All-Star weekend while representing the Denver Nuggets organization on Friday, Feb. 17 at 7 PM MST and congratulations to all three on being selected to participate.
