The king is here. The king is here!
Antwan Scott, Colorado State Rams men’s basketball’s 3-point king is here.
When Scott nailed his first 3-pointer of the game on Thursday night, it was his 91st of the season, a new single-season record for any Rams hoops player ever.

(He now has 94 and counting at the conclusion of the game.)
“Smooth” Scott is the purest shooter on the Rams, with the ability to nail shots from 30-plus feet away from the hoop. He sometimes even shoots better with a hand in his face, as Emmanuel Omogbo joked following the team’s win over New Mexico. In 12 games this year he hit four or more from downtown, including an 8-11 effort in his 35-point effort, a loss at Utah State. Make that 13 games as he made four Thursday night.
Also of note, Scott’s 3-point make was the 307th of the season for Colorado State, a new team single-season record, completely blowing away the previous record of 255.
Too bad for Ram Nation the redshirt senior will be gone after this season is finally said and done, whenever that comes.
Colorado State won the game 88-81 thanks to a clutch 3-pointer by Scott with only 1:49 to play which put the Rams ahead by six.
