After the Nuggets tied the score at 69-all on a Mason Plumlee layup midway through the third, the Warriors went on a 24-12 run to close the quarter and carried a double-digit lead throughout most of the fourth. But Golden State sealed the win with an 8-2 run midway through the fourth quarter that expanded the Warriors' lead to 18 and ignited a capacity crowd at Oracle Arena as Denver gradually started to turn their attention towards Wednesday night's opponent, the Atlanta Hawks. Golden State won going away 124-114.

The Denver Nuggets are in Oracle arena tonight for a matchup with the Golden State Warriors. Unlike most teams throughout the league, Denver has actually had a fair deal of success against the reigning champs. The Nuggets are 2-3 in their past five games against the Warriors with their last meeting coming in a 96-81 win at Oracle on Dec. 23.
