Little League World Series


For those who might grumble about professional athletes getting paid millions of dollars to play a children’s game, take notice of the Little League World Series over the next 12 days. On Wednesday, 20 different teams consisting of players age-11-to-13 years old from around the globe gathered in Williamsport, PA for baseball in its purest form. The 75th anniversary of LLWS brings an expanded pool of teams – up from 16 in 2019 during the last pre-pandemic international tournament – and with it, even more hopes and dreams.
