You could tell Emmanuel Mudiay wanted this one bad....
My first day on the Nuggets’ beat was June 25, 2015 — draft night. As the Denver Nuggets selected Emmanuel Mudiay seventh overall, former Nuggets point guard Ty Lawson surfaced in an online video smoking hookah and predicted he’d be traded to Sacramento to reunite with former coach George Karl. The stunt proved to be the last straw for a Nuggets organization that had…...
DENVER — The Denver Nuggets have acquired a veteran backup point guard after weeks of rumblings they were in the market for one, multiple reports indicated Thursday. The trade has since been confirmed to BSN Denver....
Nuggets coach Michael Malone was having flashbacks while his team rolled past the New York Knicks 130-118 on Thursday. Instead of playing the grind-it-out basketball he'd grown accustomed to seeing in 2018, the Nuggets went back to simply outscoring their opponent for a night, a style they relied heavily on in 2017. Denver's performance defensively left a lot to be desired. But on offense, the Nuggets finally busted out. They shot 60 percent from the floor and handed out 36 assists, numbers Malone attributed in part to a tweak Mason Plumlee made.
Wind and Clark discuss the Nuggets win over the Knicks, Gary Harris consistency, how well Nikola Jokic and Mason Plumlee played together and if this win had more to do with Denver's offense or New York's defense.

The Denver Nuggets outlasted the New York Knicks 130-118 Thursday night at Pepsi Center. Here’s how each Nuggets player performed.
At the center of all that change and uncertainty is Gary Harris. The 23-year-old shooting guard, who started against New York despite dealing with right foot soreness, has acted as a steady influence on a team that's been all over the place. Harris' performance Thursday in a 130-118 win over the New York Knicks — 23 points on 8-14 shooting — was right in line with what his coach and teammates have come to expect from him.
The Knicks' were Denver's Emergen-C to its cold shooting in a 130-118 Nuggets' victory. Denver shot 60.0 percent from the field, hit 14-28 (50.0 percent) from three-point distance and tallied 36 assists on 48 made baskets. It was the Nuggets' most complete offensive game over the last few weeks.
Gary Harris, who was questionable for tonight's game with a sprained right foot, scored a team-high 23 points, 18 of which came in the first half. Seven Nuggets players scored in double-figures. Trey Lyles chipped in 21 points off the bench on 6-8 shooting and Nikola Jokic tallied 18 points, seven rebounds and 10 assists.
Gary Harris will play for the Denver Nuggets tonight night against the New York Knicks after going through warmups and getting the go-ahead from team doctors. Harris initially hurt the foot when he stepped on T.J. Warren in the Nuggets' 108-100 win over the Phoenix Suns last Friday but played 37 minutes three nights later in Denver's win over Portland.
