For all the bad performances up and down Denver's roster, Murray deserves some credit tonight. The Nuggets' starting point guard did commit five turnovers, he did shoot just 3-8 from three-point range, but he battled in the fourth quarter and played with passion tonight. Murray was frustrated, whether it was the officiating, turnovers, missed shots or all three, but he recorded a big-time block late in the game and played well enough for the Nuggets to win.

Denver’s new-look rotation gave minutes to reserve forward Kenneth Faried, who hadn’t seen the floor since the Nuggets’ Dec. 15 win over the Pelicans, and more playing time to Malik Beasley who had been in and out of Denver’s rotation as well.
