Stonehouse, Prentice continue to receive preseason attention

Ryan Stonehouse was a named to the Ray Guy Award watch list on Wednesday. The Colorado State junior punter was also recently named preseason first-team All-Mountain West.

In his second season as the starting punter, Stonehouse set a single-season school record with a 48.3 gross average in 2018. His current career average of 47.3 is a school record as well.

Stonehouse is not the only Ram to receive individual recognition – redshirt junior fullback Adam Prentice was named to the Wuerffel Trophy watch list on Thursday. The award is the nation’s top honor for community service.

Prentice was also named a nominee for the Allstate AFCA Good Works team this month.

Semifinalists for the Wuerffel Trophy will be announced on Nov. 5. The winner will be announced on Dec. 10 in New York City.
