It’s been an exciting week for two former Colorado State men’s basketball players.
This weekend, Daniel Bejarano and Stanton Kidd were among a heap of graduating CSU student-athletes. Mere days later, each have been signed to the same agency.
Worldwide Sports Marketing announced the signing of Stanton Kidd on Monday via Twitter:

Kidd and Bejarano, two transfers, were integral members of the 2014-15 Rams men’s hoops squad, pushing the team into the Top-25 on their way to winning a school-record 27 games. Kidd and Bejarano ranked second and third in scoring and rebounding, respectively, as two of the big-three which included J.J. Avila. During his career, Bejarano was twice named All-MW as well as Sixth Man of the Year (2013), while Kidd earned All-MW Honorable Mention for his play as a senior.
The 6’8” Kidd, who averaged 11.6 points and 5.1 rebounds last year, has a chance to transition to swingman at the next level. His ability to play both inside and out make him incredibly difficult to defend. He can rebound and put it back, score on the block or from downtown. And when his intensity is high, Kidd’s defense is physical and in-your-face.
Bejarano, who stands at 6’3”, possesses the body and playing style of a two-guard. He played some point guard at CSU, but was mostly utilized as a shooting guard his senior season, when he shined. Bejarano’s game evolved over his three years, from a shoot-first to team-first mindset, and the team prospered. Sure, his scoring (16.5-11.8) and rebounding (8.2-7.2) numbers suffered from his junior to senior season, but that’s because the Rams were deeper and better overall in 2014-15. Bejarano was the top defender on a team in which Larry Eustachy demanded all-out effort on both ends of the court. On Thursday, he earned an NSCA All-American Athlete award.
