Colorado State football will have six games aired on national television this season the school announced Friday. Four games will air on one of ESPN’s networks and two games will air on CBS Sports Network, all of which will take place on Saturdays.

The first of the games on ESPN will be when CSU takes on Wyoming on Oct. 1. The Rams will be defending the bronze boot, which they have taken home three straight years. Both the specific ESPN channel assignments and kickoff times have not yet been announced.

ESPN will also air Colorado State’s matchups at Boise State (Oct. 15), at Air Force (Nov. 12) and at home vs. New Mexico (Nov. 19).

Colorado State’s homecoming game against Utah State (Oct. 8), will air on CBS Sports Network and will kickoff at 8 p.m. The Rams season finale at San Jose State will also air on CBS Sports Network and will kickoff at 7 p.m.

Additional broadcasts for CSU will be announced by the Mountain West in coming weeks. The kickoff time and television info for the annual Rocky Mountain Showdown (Sept. 2), will be announced by the PAC 12.

The exposure received by playing on nationally televised game is huge for a CSU football program trying to grow. Winning games in front a broad audience will do wonders for recruiting, as well as put Fort Collins on the map of power conferences.
