The Colorado Buffaloes have found themselves a sweet signing day surprise. Casey Roddick, a six-foot-five, 325-pound, three-star offensive guard has signed his letter of intent to come to Boulder

Hailing from Saint Bonaventure High School in Ventura, CA, Roddickwaas once committed to the University of California-Berkeley. The other two in his final four were Utah and San Diego State but he ended up a part of Mike MacIntyre’ squad.

Oregon, Oregon State and other offered the nation’s 30th ranked (Scout) guard in Roddick.

He visited Boulder over the weekend and told Scout, “It’s a real family oriented environment and I loved the faith-based atmosphere that Coach Mac has and also his staff has a very faith-centered atmosphere too… The school itself is amazing. I love Boulder. The campus is definitely the best I’ve seen out of all my visits. The facilities are the best in the Pac-12.”

Roddick joins Jake Moreti, Grant Polley and William Sherman to makeup a stacked offensive line group for the class of 2017.
