Ryan Harris will move to left tackle for Sambrailo and Michael Schofield will slide into right tackle for his first career start.
“This is a great opportunity for Michael,” Gary Kubiak said after practice. “As a player, that’s all you ask for: work, work, work and then someday, okay, hey, here we go. Then you find out. It’s a great opportunity for him. We’ve got confidence in all our players and we’re going to need everybody to be successful through the course of the season. It’s Michael’s turn, you know what I mean? We’ve talked about that and he’s ready to go.”
The Broncos signed tackle Tyler Polumbus yesterday after he was released from the Atlanta Falcons but he will serve as the backup swing tackle for both Harris and Schofield.
