Ryan Edwards Show: Broncos Steal a Win vs the Panthers

Ryan kicked off the show with the Top 4 Trends and his reaction to the Broncos 21-20 win over the Panthers. He discussed his impressions of Trevor Siemian’s performance, the defense and how happy he is the Broncos offensive line held up. The second story focused on Brandon Marshall’s decision to take a knee during the National Anthem and Ryan did his best to explain his views on it without getting too political. In the third story, Ryan discussed how disappointed he was that Cam Newton wasn’t pulled last night when Darian Stewart hit him helmet-to-helmet to at least give the impression they were concerned he suffered a concussion. Finally, Ryan talked briefly about how excited he is about the NBA Hall of Fame tonight induction of Shaq, Allen Iverson and Yao Ming.

In the second segment, Sam Cowhick (@SamCowhick) joined the show to help Ryan chop up last night’s Broncos game.

In the third segment, Jon Heath (@JonHeathNFL) from The Broncos Wire joined the show with thoughts on the Broncos win last night including perspective on Brandon Marshall’s controversial decision to take a knee during the National Anthem.

Finally, Ryan talked about the things he’s looking forward to this weekend including college and professional football, maybe some Rockies, and he gave an update on his status in radio.
